0:00

The Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, and Lenny Kravitz perform "Rock and Roll," "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You," "Ramble On," and "Whole Lotta Love" in honor of Led Zeppelin at the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors. In a surprise twist, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins sings lead vocals while frontman Dave Grohl takes the drum kit on "Rock and Roll." Kid Rock sings "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" and "Ramble On," and Lenny Kravitz performs "Whole Lotta Love." They performed in front of Led Zeppelin band members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones, as well as President Barak Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and the other honorees including Buddy Guy, David Letterman, Dustin Hoffman, and Natalia Makarova. The Kennedy Center Honors is an annual honor given to those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American culture. See more at https://www.kennedy-center.org/honors.
