Lionel Loueke - "Nonvignon"

Benin-native guitarist and vocalist Lionel Loueke--a current Blue Note Records artist whose most recent release Heritage was produced by labelmate Robert Glasper—performs with bassist Massimo Biolcati and drummer Ferenc Nemeth. Loueke stands out in a crowded field of musicians with his trademark sound which “fuses traditional African music with modern jazz harmonies, unique vocal inflections, and complex time signatures” (NPR).
